The 200 Hour program features three courses that offer skills and training in Anatomy & Alignment, Vinyasa, Sequencing & Subtle Body, and Teaching Techniques, Building a Business & Being a Professional.
MODULE 1
Anatomy & Alignment: presented through an exclusively yogic lens. Learn the key structures of muscle, bone, joint, and connective tissues. You also learn terms of movement and alignment principles to help you understand and safely apply asana to a broad range of abilities and considerations.
MODULE 2
Vinyasa, Sequencing & Subtle Body: containing the essentials of how to safely sequence a vinyasa class, and takes this knowledge further by giving you the insights necessary to sequence in accord with the more esoteric and energetic principles that fuel yoga’s transformational power. Learning the subtle anatomy and working with the koshas and chakras will give you an intimate understanding of how the body works. This will allow you to harness the power of yoga practice.
MODULE 3
Teaching Techniques, Building a Business & Being a Professional: learn the tips, tools, technique and strategies you need to develop and hone your skills as an exceptional yoga instructor. This module covers everything you need to start a rewarding teaching career.

About Alanna Kaivalya, Ph.D.
Often referred to simply as the “Yoga Doctor,” Alanna KaivalyaThe Ph.D. in Yoga Teacher Education helps teachers of yoga to expand their knowledge, improve their skills, and make an impact on the world. She will show you how to make a living from your spiritual practice, and share your gift with others.
This principle was the basis of her foundation. The Kaivalya Yoga Method is a new approach to yoga that emphasizes individuality and respects tradition. Since 2001, I have been teaching students and teachers since 2003. Alanna She has created and published teacher trainings in various countries for top studios as well as independently. She launched a 500-hour online teacher training in 2015.
She holds a Ph.D. in Mythological Studies with an Emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, has authored numerous articles and three books: Myths of the Asanas, an accessible practitioner’s guide to stories behind beloved poses; Sacred Sound, a yoga “hymnal,” This illustration illustrates the importance of mantra and chant in modern practices. The third book in her trilogy.Yoga Beyond the Mat is a guidebook that teaches practitioners how to make yoga a spiritual practice.
