By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
1) Understand common hyperkinetic and hypokinetic movement disorders.
2) Understand how to do a work up for tremor.
3) Understand idiopathic Parkinson’s disease and other Parkinsonian syndromes.
4) Understand how to manage basic motor and non-motor aspects of tremor and Parkinson’s disease.
5) Understand how to identify possible Deep Brain Stimulation referrals.

Dr. Stevens received her medical degree at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (OUHCOM) in Athens, OH, 2004. She completed her neurology residency at Grandview Hospital & Medical Center in Dayton, OH, in 2008. Dr. Stevens’ special interests include Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) therapy for Parkinson Disease and Essential Tremor and Botox therapy for Spasticity, Dystonia, and Chronic Daily Migraine.
