This session will provide a brief historical perspective on hip and knee arthroplasty. In addition, an overview of contemporary techniques and practices will be given.
Objectives:
1. Appreciation for development of hip and knew arthroplasty
2. Benefits of both cemented and non-cemented arthroplasty
3. Understand multimodal pain therapy and advanced PT protocols.

Texas Orthopedic Surgery
Dr. Christopher Blair is a board-certified family physician and orthopedic surgeon. He practiced family medicine for 17 years before continuing to pursue his dream of becoming an orthopedic surgeon. In addition, Dr. Blair earned an MBA from the Cox School of Business at SMUI and then later attended law school at Texas Wesleyan School of Law.
