DroneBlocks Math This course will cover 8 lessons about how math is important in drone applications. Every component of a drone, from its GPS receiver to its camera, remote control and other components, use math to make it more intelligent. These are the lessons you will learn in this course:
Lesson 1 – Distance Measurement Using a Drone Photograph
Learn more about photogrammetry. DroneBlocks can be used to take a nadir picture. You’ll be able to calculate distances between two points of the earth’s surface by using that photo.
Lesson 2 – Calculating Area with a Drone Photo
It is important to know the exact area of a building, field or other object in order to use them in your application. This lesson will show you how to capture a drone photo. with Learn how to calculate area with DroneBlocks
Lesson 3: Calculating distance between GPS waypoints
DroneBlocks uses GPS waypoints as a distance calculation tool to determine the best place to send a drone to during autonomous missions.
