Module 1: Unraveling the Mystery of Your Brain for Sustained Cognitive Acuity (May 20)
Are the stressors in your life cause for concern? Recent research and statistics speak to the prevalence of anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, and a rampant rise in dementia and Alzheimer’s.
How many of these conditions are affecting you or your loved ones?
In this opening session, you’ll learn the most important things your brain needs to stay alert and healthy through adulthood and how your daily food intake and your environment may be cause for concern.
You’ll explore the magic and wonder of the anatomy of the brain, identifying your neuroanatomy pathways and the regions of your brain — and the unique functions of each.
You’ll learn some easy, yet potent energy medicine exercises to open your crown chakra and restore energy flow to your brain.
In this module, you’ll also:

Module 2: Take Back Your Health & Brain Power With Detoxification — Reducing Stress, Moving Lymph & Balancing Your Nervous System (June 3)
This week, you’ll begin to see how stress and emotions — including trauma you experienced in your early childhood development — may have played a role in compromising your central nervous system.
Dr. Melanie will share that your brain has its own lymphatic system for removing toxic waste, and she’ll guide you through the important connections your brain has with your immune system and gut function.
You’ll learn about the blood-brain barrier — a permeable membrane separating your circulating blood from your brain’s cerebral spinal fluid — and understand what happens to your nervous system when excitotoxins (foreign substances like aspartame) invade this barrier and reach your brain.
Dr. Melanie will share about several real clients who faced serious brain and neurological health issues and literally got their lives back by changing their diet and using easy energy medicine exercises. She’ll guide you through many of these techniques to reclaim your health and take back your brain power.
In this session, you’ll:
- Implement gentle energy exercises to fortify the detox process and move lymph to support and nourish your liver
- Release physical and emotional toxins to enhance the flow of lymph, Qi, and blood
- Flush out critical pathways along your occipital ridge and your cervical vertebrae to increase brain clarity and boost your immune function
- Open the glymphatic system in your brain to improve your vagal function

Module 3: Balancing Your Emotional Brain for Improved Health & Longevity (June 10)
In this session, you’ll learn about your limbic system — the primary area of your brain that deals with stress — and why it’s often referred to as “the emotional brain.”
Dr. Melanie will share about recent research studies on adult neurogenesis — the process by which adults create new nerve cells in your brain. You’ll learn that even older adults over the age of 50 can still improve memory formation, elevate mood, and even prevent the neurological decline associated with aging and stress.
You’ll experience energy medicine techniques and learn lifestyle hacks to generate new neurons that will amplify your ability to support a healthy aging brain.
This week, you’ll:
- Practice energy techniques to balance the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems
- Use stress-reducing neurovascular gateways (acupuncture points on your head) that move Qi, blood, and hormones to calm your nervous system
- Experience a direct energy link between your brain stem and hippocampus — and why the “hippo” is so important
- Identify and regulate your stress hormones through your neurovascular portals
Module 4: Understand the Importance of a Balanced Autonomic Nervous System for Good Brain Function (June 17)
In this module, you’ll experience the important role energy medicine self-care techniques play in reducing and resetting your stressors.
You’ll begin to recognize the differences between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems and why it’s important to have a balanced autonomic nervous system.
Dr. Melanie will explain the energy of “Triple Warmer” — the system and meridian in Oriental medicine that activates your fight/flight/freeze stress response loop.
You’ll begin to understand how your stress patterns are created and imprinted in your energy field and what happens to your brain and your body when stress hormones are released.
You’ll find out if there really is a neurological blissful brain state and whether it really helps increase happiness. You’ll also identify what hormone is released when you’re in a happy, relaxed, and meditative state.
You’ll also learn about the importance of your vagus nerve for good brain function and why it’s called the “wanderer.”
In this session, you’ll:
- Learn to identify and regulate your stress hormones
- Activate simple techniques to calm your sympathetic nervous system while also boosting your parasympathetic system
- Participate in a lovingkindness meditation to understand the connection between your vagus nerve and the hormone oxytocin
- Experience easy methods to pull you out of a “reactive” state
- Be guided through the “Brain Electric Hookup” exercise to identify which acupuncture points on your head are used as gateways to your brain and neurotransmitters
Module 5: Use Your Vagus Nerve to Activate Your Gut-to-Brain Axis for a Healthy Microbiome (June 24)
What is the microbiome? Where is it located and how does it affect your brain health? Why might it be the cause of brain fog, skin rash, headaches, or fatigue?
Using your vagus nerve as a road map, you’ll explore the pathway and connections of the gut-to brain axis, and how neurotransmitters travel along this superhighway. You’ll come to understand how some foods you may be eating might affect this axis.
You’ll also learn how stress affects your gut, and experience some easy energy medicine self-care exercises to connect to the intelligent storehouse for your microbiome, immune, hormone, and endocrine cells.
In this class, you’ll:
- Identify the 3 big factors for a healthy brain
- Experience sound healing to further soothe and harmonize good vagal tone
- Find out the impact our modern day diet may be having on your brain health, and learn a basic energy test to see if your food is beneficial for your vagus nerve and gut
- Understand why drinking quality water is important for maintaining proper brain function — and learn an energy test to determine dehydration
- Use techniques to amplify the energetic properties of your food and water
- Access the energetic gateway to your gut to balance your microbiome and gut chakras
- Learn which neurotransmitter is manufactured in the small intestine, and the importance of a healthy gut-to-brain connection
Module 6: Identify Key Neurological Factors That Impede Brain Health & Simple Adjustments to Prevent or Reduce Cognitive Decline (July 1)
In this session, you’ll learn to identify normal, everyday electromagnetic (EMF) stressors — like cell phones, electronic devices, microwaves, WIFI, electric vehicles, and more — and how they may be affecting your brain health.
Dr. Melanie will guide you in some simple adjustments that can make a huge difference in improving cognitive function and reducing cognitive decline.
You’ll understand the important role sleep plays in your brain health and what you can do to enjoy a healthy, restful night’s sleep.
You’ll look at 10 early warning signs for dementia and Alzheimer’s and learn more about type 3 diabetes and its impact on your brain.
