In-Play Horse Racing Trading
Trading Techniques
I couldn’t really write about one without mentioning the others, they are all part of my overall plan of attack for in-play racing trading and they all go hand-in-hand really, especially when doing the shortlisting in the morning, or the evening before when I am a bit more organised!
As one of the readers told me within a week of reading it, just a couple of winning trades, even with pretty small stakes, can easily return more than the cost of this ebook. It really is about the best ‘bang for buck’ you’re going to find.
Low Risk Learning
Bear in mind that I always suggest that the best approach is to use minimum stakes (£2) while learning any new method, and that applies here especially as these markets are going in play and so just one ‘fat finger’ error with the keyboard/mouse can cost you a lot of your stake.
Using minimal stakes help you firstly check you’re profitable before increasing your stakes, but it also gets your fingers used to the routine before increasing your risk.
As a perfect example of why this is the best approach to take, don’t miss the testimonial at the bottom of this page where a reader did exactly as advised in the ebook using £2 stakes. His 17 wins out of 19 trades, with one of the losers being his own simple error, and the other only costing one penny, show not only how powerful and profitable this method is, but how much confidence you can gain by using such small stakes until you’ve got the system ‘nailed down’. At that point you can simply add a zero to your stakes, and likewise to your profits.
This approach to racing trading is far and away the most profitable in my view, if we exclude pre-race trading which takes about 100 times as much practice and learning as this approach does.
Profitability
When I began trading horses in-running using the techniques explained in this course, I was truly blown away by the amount of profit which can be made in a matter of seconds, so long as you do your pre-trade selection process carefully.
I have known quite a few racing traders who couldn’t get the knack of trading ‘before the off’ and instead just traded in-running and did very nicely with it, trading full time using this approach alone.
The profit potential really is very high, especially when the method consumes such a small amount of time and can be fully mastered with comparative ease.
Course Content
As you can probably guess from my free Betfair articles, this eBook is detailed! It contains everything I do when trading In-Play, except for the odd coffee break, although I suppose I could have explained how to make a great latte. Start by freeze-chilling the milk… ?
Nothing is left out, and in fact there is far more included than I actually do on any average day, just to give readers the option to tune things to their requirements and progress faster if they wish. It all comes down to how much time you want to put in.
Just using the first method described is more than enough to give you a good few trades each day (2-8 usually) and that can be a nice wage for a day’s ‘work’. Also, if you enjoy watching horses race, there can’t be many more enjoyable ways to earn your crust.
You can use the Betfair live video feed which is free (when you have a trade running), although in time you will probably subscribe to RacingTV (formerly known as Racing UK) as I do, giving you better quality pictures and a nicer experience overall.
Software Required
Please note that the strategy described in the ebook should not be attempted in your web browser.
Instant submission software is essential if you want a fighting chance in these furiously fast-paced and sometimes cut-throat in-play markets.
I have published an article reviewing your options for finding the best Betfair trading software for your particular needs, so have a read of that if you’re not already using software.
Summary
If you’re just looking for a fast but effective way to learn about In-Running trading, this will fit the bill very nicely. But if you want to go into a lot more detail and really get serious about your trading, testing and coming up with your own methods/variations etcetera, this ebook will give you a good kick start down that road as well.
The ebook is a total of 131 pages long and is jam-packed with useful and profitable content, stuff you can get to grips with and start implementing immediately, although I would recommend taking a bit of time to practice (especially if new to trading software).
You also need to get yourself fully up to speed with the shortlisting process and the necessary form/data checks etcetera before taking the plunge into live racing markets.
I am extremely confident that anyone wanting to learn how to profit from live racing will not find a better place to start than this. I hope it helps you hit the ground running (no pun intended!) and shows you how there is plenty of green to be had from these volatile
