Presentation Title: Telemedicine: New Parameters and Pitfalls During a Pandemic
Jack Forbush, D.O.
Session Objectives:
1. Attain familiarity with “telehealth terminology”.
2. Obtain a better understanding of telehealth’s history, current implementations and future integrations
3. Gain a more comprehensive understanding of the tools recommended to initiate telehealth services in your medical practice
4. Determine the most appropriate, cost-effective tools to implement telehealth services.
The Maine Osteopathic Association is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians.The Maine Osteopathic Association designates this program for a maximum of .75 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.

Osteopathic Center for Family Medicine
Leigh “Jack” Forbush, DO owns and operates the Osteopathic Center for Family Medicine, one of Maine’s first direct primary care practices. In addition, he is a founding member of both the New England Direct Primary Care Alliance and the Direct Primary Care Alliance, organizations devoted to the advocacy of direct primary care and supporting physicians either operating a direct care practice or transitioning to this model. He is the current President of the Maine Chapter of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. He enjoys obstacle course racing and classic rock-n-roll.
