As a collective, from February through June, we are under the direct impact of one of the most difficult karmic afflictions the ancient yogis ever identified: kala sarpa dosha.

This deep affliction is determined in astrology by the north and south nodes of the moon, referred to respectively as Rahu and Ketu in Vedic Astrology. These are non-physical points in space, created by the intersections of the moon and the apparent path of the Sun.

Rahu and Ketu are karmic “planets”, representing the interplay of our past-life karma and our present life desires and ambitions.
