Description
Sifu Wing Cheung – Hua Shan Qigong
Sifu Wing Cheung – Hua Shan Qigong is a program dedicated to the practice of Hua Shan Qigong, a traditional Chinese system of energy cultivation and movement. The program emphasizes techniques for harnessing and balancing internal energy (Qi) through specific exercises, meditations, and breathing methods. It aims to enhance physical health, mental clarity, and spiritual well-being by aligning with the principles of traditional Chinese medicine and Daoist philosophy. The practice incorporates movements and postures that are designed to promote relaxation, vitality, and overall harmony.
Master He Wei originally designed the second set.-Qi in collaboration With Professor Lin Hou-Sheng began her career in the 1980s. Sheng has since been promoted to millions across Asia. The second set’s movements are more difficult and physically demanding than those of the first. Although it’s not as simple to remember as the original Tai Chi Chuan, it’s still very easy to do.
Master Cheung Master He will meet in Shanghai on 06/06 to discuss the details and possibilities for modifying the 2nd set. This DVD contains a slightly altered version of the original, but it does not lose any of its benefits. This DVD includes Master. Cheung The mirror technique allows him to see the form from several angles simultaneously. The poster is a wonderful tool for learning the second set. The DVD and the poster should allow you to master the second set in a matter of weeks.
The 2nd set’s movements are more demanding than the first set. Therefore, it is recommended that one performs the 1st Set (maybe two repetitions per movement) as a warm-up before moving on to the 2nd set. This DVD has proper closing techniques for the qigong workout.
The first set focuses more on opening the meridians in the arms. After practicing the first set, most people feel the qi in their hands. The second set focuses more on opening the meridians in the legs. It is excellent for improving one’s balance ability. People who practice this qigong also feel different when they meditate. During meditation, people often feel numbness in their legs when they sit cross legged or in a kneeling position for a long period of time. Because the qi can’t flow freely on their legs, this is called numbness. The practitioners are unable to experience deep meditation in low alpha and theta states due to the numbness sensation. Because the second set is more focused upon opening the meridians, practitioners can experience deeper mediation. For those who wish practice Zhan Zhuang (standing Qigong), the 2nd set is an excellent preparation.
